"The Centre for Heritage Development in Africa welcomed a delegation of Elders, long serving staff of the Antiquities and Monuments Board of Tanzania in its offices last week. As an incentive and affirmation of long years of service, the Tanzanian authority had arranged with the National Museums of Kenya to host these esteemed colleagues. CHDA has had the privilege of having Mr Kimaro, Principal Conservator of Antiquities, Tanzania serve as one of the Africa 2009 Resource Persons on the current 11th Regional Course on the Conservation of Immovable Heritage"

"The Centre for Heritage Development in Africa bids farewell to the three amazing interns, Precious Dama, Filex Mwangada and Fuad Shirazy at a traditional Swahili lunch. The conversation was richly laced with issues of diversity through discussions on cultural practices and foods! The interns shall continue writing for the CHDA website youth Blog and continue their efforts at ensuring that youth are not forgotten in discussions of heritage and development. The excellent food can be found at Jahazi's Coffee Shop, Old Town Mombasa"
